Joey Nannini was born in Baltimore, Maryland and grew up in Tigard.   Joey joined the Tigard Tualatin Swim Club when he was six years old, and reached the senior sectional level.   Joey also competed on the Tigard High School Water Polo and Swimming Teams earning varsity letters in both sports all four years.

   Joey became the Novice Coach at the Tigard site in 2005.   He currently works at the Tigard Swim Center as a swim instructor and lifeguard supervisor.   He also worked as the assistant Water polo coach for Tigard High School in the Fall of 2007.
